- How do I Move Out?
Your payments must be up to date – return your keys and lock to our drop box located by the office doors. Please make sure your unit number is clearly marked on the envelopes provided. You should receive a move out receipt by the next business day.
- Are the offices open on the weekend?
No, All of our offices are run remotely Monday thru Friday, besides our Illinois Rd location. Illinois Rd office hours are M-F 9:00a- 5:00p. For immediate assistance, call our call center during business hours.
- How do I find my access/gate code?
The easiest way to recover your gate code is to login to your customer portal at Login | Fort Wayne Storage. You can locate your access code on your tenant account info page. You may call our office during business hours for assistance as well.
- Can I store a car/trailer/boat?
Yes, you are welcome to store a vehicle in our conventional storage units.
- What are the dimensions of the door to a unit?
Sizes may vary. Door Entry dimensions for 10’ wide units is W 8’6” x H 7’6” or W 3’6” x H 7’ for 5’ wide units.
- Do I have to give a 30-day notice to move out?
No. Just turn in your lock and keys before your next billing date.
- How do I change my contact details?
Go to Login | Fort Wayne Storage. Select the location of your unit and log in or claim your unit. Changes can be made on your profile.
- How do I pay for my unit?
There are a few ways to pay. You can pay on our website, or by phone.
- When is my payment due?
Your payment is due on the date you rented your unit.
- What can I pay with?
Fort Wayne Storage Accepts All major credit/debit cards, checks, and money orders. Please make checks out to Fort Wayne Storage
- Will my unit go to auction if I am late?
Per Indiana state lien law, your unit will not go to auction until you are 60 days past due. You will receive a letter/email from us stating your unit will be going to auction.
- Is my rental agreement yearly or month to month?
Month to month
- Where are the keys to my unit after I rent?
Fort Wayne Storage provides each tenant with 3 keys and lock for free. They will be waiting inside your unit upon unit rental completion.
- What happens if I lose my keys to my unit?
You will be charged a $75 fee for us to drill out the lock and replace your lock and keys.
- Do you have a moving truck or dolly?
We do not provide a moving truck, however all facilities have moving carts and dollies located throughout the climate controlled buildings. Please return after use.
- What size unit would I need?
